The Scry apps

The Scry mobile apps (Android and iOS) are proprietary software, distributed through the Google Play Store and Apple App Store and governed by their terms of use. You're free to install and use them; they aren't open-source.

scry-connect: Apache License 2.0

scry-connect, the server you install on your robot (pip install scry-connect), is open source under the Apache License, Version 2.0. You can use it commercially, modify it, distribute it, and sublicense it under the terms of that license.

This documentation site is openly licensed — you're welcome to quote, adapt, and reuse it with attribution.

Logos, icons, name "Scry," and the brand mark are released under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International.

You can use them as long as you give credit. We use them on every page of this site; you can use them in articles, talks, integration READMEs.

Trademark note

"Scry" and the brand mark are trademarks of Phaneron Robotics, Inc. The CC-BY-4.0 license on the assets doesn't grant trademark rights. For commercial use of the name (e.g. selling a product called "Scry Pro"), reach out to info@phaneronrobotics.com.
